Happy National Running Day!!

It’s our birthday!! Okay, not really, but you know what I mean πŸ˜€

It’s really that simple.

I did some pre-celebrating yesterday evening when I met up with a local running club for a short run:

Will run for beer.

Stay hydrated my friends.

One hundred plus degree weather isn’t so bad when there’s beer at the end πŸ™‚

I have another meet-up with a different running club this evening for an official celebration that I’m super looking forward too. This day is going to be AWESOME!

Happy running day my amigos!! ❀ , helly

–How are you celebrating today?

–Do you have local running stores that host group runs? (look into it–they just might!)

–Why do YOU run?

  1. Love your group celebrations! I went on a nice longish run this morning which I was really able to just enjoy and relax on. Our local Nike and Fleet Feet stores host group runs, as well as a local cross fit gym! I run because it is part of who I am and it helps me put forward my best self! Hope you have a wonderful holiday πŸ™‚ !!

  2. I can’t make our local store’s run because my hubby is out of town and I’ve got no one to watch the little. Soooo I’m taking the little to the park and hopefully I can convince her to run with me for a second. 😊

  3. haha it’s our birthday πŸ˜€ I haven’t been to Cadence, but I’ve heard great things! Umm hydrating yeah…I’m not really hydrating with water either lol. I’ve been consuming more cups of coffee than even my usual haha. Dang water is always my downfall!

  4. 100 degrees – that’s nuts! The only thing that would get me to run in that heat is a really good celebration treat (wine for me) and good running friends πŸ˜€ Amazing job running in that heat!
I run because it makes me feel like I can do anything – in line with that, I did mile repeats yesterday to prove to myself that I can succeed through a really tough workout!
